Grilled Portabello Burgers Recipe
Recipe Ingredients
8 medium portabello mushrooms
1 cup olive oil
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
5 cloves fresh minced garlic
2 bunch fresh basil, chopped
1 bunch fresh oregano, chopped
3 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
Recipe Preparation
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste 8 slices mozzarella
cheese 8 kaiser rolls (or 2 loaves of Italian Bread) 8 romaine
lettuce leaves 8 slices large, fresh tomato Peel the mushrooms; brush
away any dirt before you cut away the stems. Combine the oil, lemon
juice, garlic, fresh herbs, salt and pepper to make a marinade. Add
the mushrooms and the sliced mozzarella; marinate at room temperature
for about an hour. Grill the mushrooms over hot coals for about 2
minutes on each side. Remove from the grill and allow to rest for 5
minutes. Serve the mushrooms on lightly toasted kaiser rolls with the
lettuce, sliced tomatoes and marinated mozzarella cheese. Cut each

Many are only marginally lower and in some cases still more than a competitors usual brand. In addition, beware of 'low sugar' and 'low fat' labels - 'low sugar' doesn't always mean 'low carb' - often the carbs are identically the same.

The onion, leek and garlic range of vegetables is rich in allyl sulfides, a chemical which experts believe might be linked to a reduced risk of stomach and colon cancer.
Even though there is precious little definitive proof published, allyl sulphides are also believed to help with colds, arteriosclerosis and fatigue.
Foods containing allyl sulfides also have a low calorie count, so you should add them to your diet system.
