Sausage Gravy I Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

1/4 lb spicy bulk sausage
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cup milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper

Recipe Preparation

Serve over hot biscuits for a Southern-style breakfast.

1. Cook sausage in medium saucepan over medium heat until browned,
stirring to crumble.

2. Drain off all fat except about 2 tablespoons. Star in flour. Cook,
stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly.

3. Gradually whisk in milk, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring
constantly, until thickened and bubbly, about
5 minutes.
