Sausage Alfresco Recipe
Recipe Ingredients
1 package smoked sausage or kielbasa
8 oz fettuccine, uncooked
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 cup carrots, zucchini, red pep.
1/2 cup peas, frozen
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp parsley, chopped
6 tbsp grated parmesan
1 salt and pepper
Recipe Preparation
Cook fettuccine and keep warm. Saute garlic and onion in large
skillet with butter until tender. Add peas and the cup of mixed
vegetables that have been cut into thin strips and cook until done.
(5 minutes) Set aside. Cut sausage into bite size slices. Brown
sausage and drain on paper towels. Combine sausage, vegetables, and
cream. Heat through, but do not boil. Stir in parsley, cheese, salt,
pepper. Serve over fettuccine. Sprinkle with extra parmesan cheese,
