Sausage & Macaroni Casserole Recipe
Recipe Ingredients
1 lb sausage meat
1 onion, chopped
1/4 tsp pepper
1 garlic clove, chopped
3 cup macaroni, cooked
1 cup mushrooms, drained
1 cup cottage cheese
1/4 tsp oregano
1/4 cup spaghetti sauce
1/4 tsp basil
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp dry mustard
1 breadcrumbs (opt)
1 grated cheese
Recipe Preparation
Preheat oven to 350F. Saute sausage meat till light brown. Drain fat,
separate meat with fork, set aside. Saute onion, garlic &
mushrooms. Add sausage meat, spices. Stir in sauce. Add macaroni &
stir. Arrange alternate layers of macaroni-meat mixture and cottage
cheese; ending with meat. Top with bread crumbs & cheese if desired.
Bake at 350F for 25-30 min. SERVES:4
