Brisket Sauce

 

Ingredients

1/2 cup margarine
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped bell pepper
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp mustard
2 tbsp sweet pickle relish, heaping
2 tbsp vinegar
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 29-oz can tomato puree



 

Preparation

In a large saucepan, saute onion and pepper in mArgarine until
tender. Mix in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and simmer 5
minutes.

Yield: Sauce for 14 to 16 sandwiches Via:
