638504 Maureen's Beef Curry

 

Ingredients

1 lb stew or fondue beef, cut into 1 cub, es
2 tbsp curry powder
1 oz unsweetened chocolate
1/4 cup molasses
1/4 cup tomato sauce
1 qt (or more) orange juice salt & peppe, r to taste
3 tbsp oil



 

Preparation

Brown stew meat in oil. When meat is lightly browned add curry and
continue browning. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
Simmer about 1 hour, continuing to add juice (water or orange juice)
as needed. A pressure cooker or crock pot can be used to hasten
cooking. Serve with rice and mixed vegetables or chutney.
