Chicken Noodle Casserole With Cheese & Dill Recipe
Recipe Ingredients

4 tbsp butter
3 tbsp whole what pastry flour
1 1/2 cup milk
1 1/4 cup ricotta cheese
4 tbsp parmesan cheese, grated
2 1/2 cup large pasta shells, cooked
1/2 cup fresh dill, chopped
1/2 cup almonds, sliced
1 1/2 cup cooked chicken, cubed
1 freshly ground pepper
Recipe Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a medium-size saucepan, melt 3
tablespoons butter. When hot, add flour and stir. Add milk all at
once and stir with a wire whisk until mixture comes to a boil. Stir
in ricotta until it melts. Add 2 tablespoons Parmesan.
Mix pasta with cheese sauce. Stir in dill and almonds. Mix in
chicken and season with lots of pepper. Sprinkle remaining 2
tablespoons Parmesan over top and dot with remaining 1 tablespoon
butter. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes, or until hot. Source:

Losing weightRecognise the difference between hunger and thirst. At times when going through a hectic day, you imagine you feel hunger but if truth be told you just need a restorative tumbler of water or cranberry juice. The feelings of hunger and thirst are quite alike, but one can result in weight gain and the alternative is fine.

* Food labels can be misleading Watch out for sales blurb that boasts 'low carb' - check the nutritional information on the back of the product. Quite a few are only marginally decreased and in some instances still more than a competitors standard brand. In addition, beware of 'low sugar' and 'low fat' labels - 'low sugar' doesn't always mean 'low carb' - often the carbs are identical.
* You can create really good smoothies with reduced carbohydrate yogurt. Ok, well, its not technically cooking, but if you really want smoothies you can make them with low carb yogurt and fruit. Obviously, you will need to ensure you use only fruit that is low in carbohydrates and use the whole fruit as the fiber will help.

The onion family is rich in allyl sulfides, a chemical which experts believe could be linked to a reduced risk of stomach and colon cancer.
Even though there is very little scientific evidence obtainable, allyl sulphides are also thought to help with antiinflammatory effect, high blood pressure and diabetes.
Foods containing allyl sulfides are also low in calories, so should be a part of every diet system.
