Cheesy Chive Blossom Omelet Recipe
Recipe Ingredients
4 large eggs
1 tsp water
1/4 tsp salt, or to taste
1/8 tsp white pepper
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp butter
3 chive blossoms
1 ; broken into florets
3 tbsp swiss cheese, grated
GARNISH
1 whole chive blossoms
Recipe Preparation
Whisk together eggs, water, salt, pepper and parsley.
Melt butter in a 10" omelet pan just until butter sizzles (don't let
it brown). Pour in egg mixture, shaking pan immediately. With the
flat side of a fork, stir eggs and move and tilt pan in a circular
motion until eggs begin to set. Sprinkle chive florets and cheese
down the center; allow cheese to melt slightly, then fold omelet over
and serve immediately. Garnish with whole chive blossoms.

All you have to do is toast the reduced carbohydrate bread in a gas or electric oven on a cookie sheet. Once it is quite hard and crispy, process it in your food mill. Store in an airtight container.
