A few tips on healthy eatingIn planning a diet, the important thing is to also endeavour to restrict your ingestion of refined carbohydrates, salt and fats.

The problems associated with low carb diets
Its popular as hell, but it is really safe for you?
Remember, one point that is usually overlooked, it is damned hard (although not technically impossible) for vegetarians to take up a reduced carb diet.
Reducing carbs may mean missing out on vital nutrients from healthy foods which should be part of any sensible diet, specifically those obtained from fruits, vegetables and whole grains.

                                      Foods containing allyl sulfides
( includes garlic, onions and spring onions)

The onion family of vegetables is high in allyl sulfides, a chemical which experts believe might be linked to a reduced risk of stomach and colon cancer.
Although there is too little scientific proof available, allyl sulphides are also thought by nutritionalists to reduce problems with blood circulation, arteriosclerosis and insomnia.

Foods containing allyl sulfides also help you lose weight, so make sure you add them to your diet system.
