Swiss Oat 'n Apple Cereal Recipe
Recipe Ingredients
4 cup natural or chunky applesauce
1 1/3 cup quaker oat bran hot cereal, uncooke, d
1 cup quaker oats (quick or old fashioned, ), uncooked
1 cup unsweetened apple juice
2/3 cup raisins
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1 tsp cinnamon
Recipe Preparation
Swiss Oat 'n Apple Cereal
Combine all ingredients; mix well. Cover; refrigerate overnight.
Store in refrig. up to one week. Serve cold or hot with skim milk or
low-fat yogurt if desired.
To heat one serving, place 3/4 cup cereal in a 2-cup microwavable
bowl. Microwave on HIGH 1 minute 30 secondsto 2 minutes or until
heated through. Stir well. (about 345 calories per 3/4 cup serving)
