Cherry Bread

 

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp cherry soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cup sifted flour
1 tsp butttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
10 oz jar maraschino cherries,
1 chopped and drained



 

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9x5x3 inch pan.

In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar and eggs; beat with mixer until
creamy. Add soda, salt, flour, and buttermilk. Mix on low until
blended. Fold in vanilla, cherries, and nuts. Bake 60 minutes.
