Blackberry Pudding

 

Ingredients

1 1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp butter
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 pinch salt
1/2 cup milk
1 sweetened blackberries or cherries



 

Preparation

Cream 1/2 c sugar and butter; blend in flour, baking powder and salt.
Stir in milk; pour into greased 8 x 8 inch baking dish. Cover with
blackberries. Bake at 325 to 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
Sprinkle top with remaining sugar; bake for 5 to 10 minutes longer.
