Crunchy Oven French Toast Recipe
Recipe Ingredients
1 1/2 cup skim milk
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp almond extract
4 large eggs or 1 cup egg substitute, light
2 cup crushed whole grain wheat flake cer
16 slice white bread
1 cooking spray
1 cup maple syrup
Recipe Preparation
Preheat oven to 425. Combine first 4 ingredients in a shallow bowl;
stir with a whisk until well blended. Place crushed cereal in a
shallow dish.. Quickly dip both sides of each bread slice in milk
mixture; dredge in cereal.
Place bread slices on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake
at 425 for 5 minutes. Turn bread slices over; bake an additional 5
minutes or until golden. Serve warm with syrup.

Break up a reduced carb choccie bar into tiny chunks and use that as an alternative.
