Food Tips of the Week
Weight loss hints and tipsIn planning a meal plan, the most important step is to make efforts to lower your intake of fat, salt and refined carbohydrates.
The argument against reduced carb diets
Its popular as hell, but it is really safe for you?
Increased consumption of animal-based products may lead into elevated consumption of saturated fat and cholesterol, which most authorities believe will increase the chance of coronary problems.
Most of the undesirable side-effects stated, like feeling tired, bowel disorders, or bad headaches seem to be only temporary, but critics contend that low carb diets are not without permanently harmful side effects.
Superfoods rich in flavonoids
(inlcudes lettuce, broccoli, yams & basil)
The compounds known as flavonoids discovered in these natural foods are thought by nutritionalists to have properties as cancer fighters.
Specialists looking into the nutritional effects of flavonoids believe that they might also have many other health giving properties, amongst them, anti-viral and anti-inflammatory activities..
The majority of these are also good for weight loss, so should be a part of every diet.
