Maple Syrup Nut Cake Recipe

Recipe Ingredients :

2 1/4 cup flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup milk
1 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup soft shortening
2 each eggs

Recipe Directions :

Sift dry ingredients together into bowl. Add syrup, shortening and
milk; beat 2 minutes. Add eggs and beat 2 minutes. Add choppeed nuts
and mix well. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9" pans. Bake in 350ø
oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Frost. By Pamela Graves - Serves 18
