Homemade Sin

 

Ingredients

1 package (14 oz) caramels
2/3 cup canned evaporated milk, divided
1 german chocolate cake mix, or light, chocolate cake mi
3/4 cup margarine
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup chocolate chips



 

Preparation

Mix and melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk, stirring often.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Separately. combine cake mix with
margarine, 1/3 cup evaporated milk (or more if needed) and nuts.
Place half the mixture into a greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake 6
minutes, Sprinkle baked mixture wit chocolate chips, then spread with
caramel mixture. Spread remaining mixture on top. Bake 15 to 18
minutes. Let cool then cut into squares.
