Herbal Dessert Sauce
Ingredients
1/3 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup buttermilk
1 tsp grated lemon rind
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/8 tsp ground cardamom
1/4 cup garam masala, allspice or
1 nutmeg
Preparation
1. Whip the cream in a medium-sized, chilled bowl until soft peaks
form. 2. Mix remaining ingredints together in a small bowl and
gently fold into the cream. The sauce should be the consistency of
thick cream.
for a thicker sauce use only 1/4 cup of buttermilk.
