Glazed Strawberry Pie
Ingredients
4 cup strawberries, fresh
1/3 cup cold water
1/4 cup water, cold
1 pinch salt
1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
1 pie crust, baked 9 inch
Preparation
Puree or mash one cup strawberries. Place in a small saucepan with
water, sugar and salt. Cook stirring over medium heat until boiling.
Stir in corn starch mixed with 2 tbsp water and continue to cook til
slightly thickened. Place remaining berries in pie shell and spoon
glaze over them. Chill 3 hours. Garnish with whipped cream.
