Chocolate-Macaroon Bars

 

Ingredients

1 package added touch chocolate,
1 devil's food or deep
1 chocolate cake mix
1/3 cup butter
1 egg, beaten
1 can (300ml) sweetened condensed
1 milk
1 tsp vanilla
3 cup desiccated coconut



 

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350F (180C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch cake pan.
Empty cake mix into a bowl. With a pastry blender, cut in butter.
Stir in egg with a fork until crumbly. Press crumbs into prepared
pan. Combine sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and coconut. Spread
over base. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until top is golden. Cool
completely. Cut into bars.
