Christmas Bread 2 Recipe
Recipe Ingredients
1 lb frozen bread dough
1/2 cup candied mixed fruit
1/2 cup walnut,chopped
1/4 cup mincemeat
1 cup confectioners sugar
4 tsp milk
1/8 tsp cardamom ,ground
Recipe Preparation
Thaw frozen bread dough according to package directions. On a lightly
flowered board pull dough out until it is 12 inches long. Knead in the
fruit,mincemeat and the nuts into the dough. With a sharp knife cut
dough into 3 ropes, 12 inches long. Press the 3 ropes together on one
end and braid on a greased cookiesheet. Let rise in a warm (90)
degree place until double in bulk, about 1 1/2 hours. Bake in a
preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes. Cool. Combine the
sugar,milk and cardamom, spread this glaze over bread. Collected out

Losing weightRecognise the difference between hunger and thirst. At times when going through a hectic day, you imagine you feel hunger but if truth be told you just need a restorative tumbler of water or cranberry juice. * You can make delicious smoothies using reduced carb yogurt. Admittedly, you can't really describe it as cooking, but if you must have smoothies you can make them with reduced carbohydrate yogurt and fruit. Of course, you will need to make sure you use fruit that is low in carbs and use the whole fruit as the fiber is important too.
* Understand the food labels Watch out for the food label that proclaims 'low carb' - check the actual nutritional information on the reverse of the tin or package. A good number of are only marginally decreased and in some instances still higher than a competitors standard brand. Also, beware of 'low sugar' and 'low fat' labels - 'low sugar' does not always mean 'low carb' - usually the carbs are identically the same.

The onion, leek and garlic range of vegetables is rich in allyl sulfides, a chemical which experts believe might be linked to a reduced risk of stomach and colon cancer.
Even though there is precious little definitive proof published, allyl sulphides are also believed to help with colds, arteriosclerosis and fatigue.
Foods containing allyl sulfides also have a low calorie count, so you should add them to your diet system.
