Chicken Coating Mix

 

Ingredients

2 tbsp parsley flakes
1 tbsp oregano
1 tbsp marjoram
1 tbsp thyme
2 tsp rosemary
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp onion salt
1 tbsp celery salt
1 tbsp ginger
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp sage
1 tbsp paprika -- oven fried chicken ---
1 1/2 tsp chicken coating mix
3/4 cup flour
1/4 cup dry non-fat instant milk
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup hot water
2 tsp vegetable oil
3 lb fryer chicken, cut up



 

Preparation

* Preheat oven to 425 degrees. * Combine all ingredients except
chicken in small bowl. * Blend well. * Dip chicken in batter. * Bake
uncovered 40-50 minutes until golden brown and tender. * If desired,
fry in hot oil.
VARIATION: * Coat chicken with mix and 1 cup flour, then fry in hot
oil. Makes 1/2 cup.
