An inviting cheese board should include cheeses in a variety of
textures and flavors. Plan on 2 oz of cheese per person. An
assortment of crudites (vegetables), thinly sliced breads and
crackers should accompany the cheeses; select from suggestions listed
below. Plan on about 1 cup vegetable pieces and 8 pieces of bread or
crackers per person. Cheese Texture

Losing weightRecognise the difference between hunger and thirst. At times when going through a hectic day, you imagine you feel hunger but if truth be told you just need a restorative tumbler of water or cranberry juice. The feelings of hunger and thirst are quite alike, but one can result in weight gain and the alternative is fine.
Some lower carbohydrate diet guidlines:
* Use soy flour or soy baking mix. When you need to use flour for baking, substitute soya flour or a bake mix like Atkins baking mix. In most cases, you may change your favorite recipes that use conventional wheat flour to use these low carbohydrate alternatives.
* Make low carbohydrate breadcrumbs for breadcrumb coated foods. Whilst you can sometimes buy low carb breadcrumbs, you can make them at home by using reduced carbohydrate bread. All you have to do is simply toast the reduced carb bread in a pre-heated oven on a baking tray. Once it is well toasted, whizz it in your food processor or blender. Keep in an airtight jar.
Foods containing allyl sulfides

The onion, leek and garlic range of vegetables is rich in allyl sulfides, a chemical which experts believe might be linked to a reduced risk of stomach and colon cancer.
Even though there is precious little definitive proof published, allyl sulphides are also believed to help with colds, arteriosclerosis and fatigue.
Foods containing allyl sulfides also have a low calorie count, so you should add them to your diet system.
