Hoppin'john Bread
Ingredients
1 package yeast
1/4 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp sugar
2 1/4 cup better for bread flour
1/2 cup wheat flour
1/4 cup pure rich bran
2 tbsp gluten
1/2 tsp white pepper
1/2 cup cholesterol-free bacon-flavor chips
1 tbsp onion, dried/minced
1 cup blackeyed peas, canned/draine
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 1/2 cup very warm water
Preparation
*Black-Eyed Peas & Bacon Bread Add all ingredients into the pan in the
order listed. Select white bread and push "Start". You can serve this
delightful cholesterol-free, high-fiber bread on NeYear's Eve instead
of the traditional bowl of black-eyed peas believed to bring good
