Chipotle Cornbread Recipe
Recipe Ingredients
1 cup coarsely ground yellow
1 cornmeal
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
2 egg whites, lightly beaten
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup soy milk
6 tbsp apple sauce
4 canned chipotles, pureed
1 each pam
Recipe Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F and prehead two 6-inch cast iron
skillets in the oven for 20 minutes. * This was the originally
recipe, but I used one 8-inch pie pan.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour, sugar, salt and
baking powder. Fold in the egg, buttermilk, milk, apple sauce, and
pureed chipotles
3. Put non-stick stuff on pans and immediately pour in the batter,
approximately three-fourths of the way up. Bake for 25 minutes, or
until the cornbread is brown around the edges and firm. Cut each
cornbread into 4 wedges.

Losing weightRecognise the difference between hunger and thirst. At times when going through a hectic day, you imagine you feel hunger but if truth be told you just need a restorative tumbler of water or cranberry juice. The feelings of hunger and thirst are quite alike, but one can result in weight gain and the alternative is fine.
Some low carb diet guidlines:
* Use reduced carbohydrate chocolate bars for cookies and muffins. If you have converted your tasty chocolate cookie or muffins recipe using soya flour, it would be crazy to put in those high carbohydrate normal chocolate. Cut up a low carb bar of chocolate into tiny pieces and use that in its place.
* Don't skip meals Most low carbohydrate recipes are, not surprisingly, low in carbs. We all need energy, and carbs are a very efficient source of energy. A low carbohydrate diet requires great care in controlling your intake of energy, as any energy contributed by fat or protein is much slower acting.

The onion and garlic family of foods is rich in allyl sulphides, a chemical which experts believe could be linked to a reduced risk of stomach and colon cancer.
Even though there is not much scientific evidence published, allyl sulphides are also thought by many experts to aid in colds, arteriosclerosis and diabetes.
Foods containing allyl sulfides are also good for weight loss, so should be included in every diet.
