Mom's Best B-B-Q Sauce
Ingredients
2 tbsp butter
2 each medium onions, sliced
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup oil
2 cup ketchup
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup dark corn syrup
1 tbsp dijon mustard
1 tsp lemon rind
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp horseradish
2 tsp cummin powder
3 tbsp chili powder
3 tbsp hot sauce
1 salt to taste
Preparation
IN A LARGE SAUCE PAN MELT BUTTER AND SAUTE THE ONION. ADD THE
REMAINING INGREDIENTS AND STIR WELL. BRING TO BOIL. REDUCE HEAT AND
SIMMER FOR 30 MINUTES OR UNTIL SAUCE THICKENS. SALT TO TASTE.
