Cathe's Beef & Snow Peas Recipe
Recipe Ingredients
1/2 lb beef
1 salt
1 pepper
4 tbsp cornstarch, divided
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp brandy
1 garlic clove, pressed
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/4 lb snow peas
1 cup chicken broth, heated
1/4 cup water
Recipe Preparation
Cut beef into chunks, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Roll in 2 T
cornstarch. Add beef to soy sauce and brandy; mix well.
Saute garlic; remove. Cook meat (do not add extra batter); remove.
Stir fry onion till limp, add snow peas and heated broth. Cover and
steam 15 to 20 seconds, until veggies are crisp-tender. Return meat
and thicken with 2 T cornstarch, dissolved in 1/4 cup cold water.
