Appetizers are small first course dishes presented before the entree or main meal.

Original Chex Party Mix

 

Ingredients

1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 1/4 tsp seasoned salt
4 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
8 cup chex cereals (mixed)
1 cup mixed nuts
1 cup pretzels



 

Preparation

1>. In a small microwave-safe bowl butter on HIGH. Add seasoned salt
and Worcestershire sauce; mix well. 2>. Pour cereals, nuts and
pretzels into 2 gal. resealable plastic bag. Pour butter mixture over
cereal mixture. Seal top of bag and shake until pieces are evenly
coated. 3>. Pour contents of bag into large microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave on HIGH 5 to 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes. Spread on
absorbent paper to cool. Store in airtight container.
