Appetizers are small first course dishes presented before the entree or main meal.

Mr. Food's Snappy Southwest Dip

 

Ingredients

1 1-1/4 cups
1/2 cup picante sauce
1/4 cup sour cream
3/4 cup ricotta cheese
1/4 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp ground cumin



 

Preparation

Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend on high speed for 2-3
minutes, until well blended (or place in a medium-sized bowl and mix
well by hand). Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Note: Serve with tortilla chips or fresh veggies. And if you want to
use lowfat ricotta cheese and substitute yogurt for the sour cream,
go ahead!
